The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) is arguably the most successful in terms of the money raised and the
percentage of funds it contributes directly to charity. In 2009, 100 percent of all funds raised by PMC
riders went directly to the Jimmy Fund.
The Jimmy Fund has been integral to the success of treatment for once-incurable childhood cancers. The Jimmy
Fund supports the fight against cancer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since 1948, the generosity of millions
of people, have raised more than $400 million for the Jimmy Fund.
World famous hair stylists, educator Hiroshi Kitamura visited Philip Ciampa Salon in Andover on May 17th & 18th. Originally from Japan, Kitamura has traveled the world making people beautiful and teaching the art of hair styling. Hiroshi believes that "Inner Beauty" is the basis of a beautiful outer appearance.
Clients joined us for a Haircut from 11am-3pm At Philip Ciampa's Saugus salon. Clients donated a $20 minimum and all proceeds collected benefited the life-saving care and world changing research taking place every day at Children's Hospital Boston!
